(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, May 10, 2015 ) London, UK -- Britain's love affair with the iPhone is likely to give Apple Watch sales on these shores a real boost it is being predicted.
While Android models accounted for over half the smartphone sales in the UK last year the Apple's iPhone was still bought by a third of the market. Apple also topped the sales league for tablets with 15.7 million units being picked up by British customers during 2014.
It is this desire to own Apple products that has led to experts expecting sales of the Apple Watch to be particularly strong in the British market, as it was with the iPad launch in 2010.

IPhone owners have become accustomed to superior apps and the Apple Watch is expected to further enhance the experience with a huge amount of developers already announcing key apps with some big announcements expected to be held for WWDC.
The size of the Apple market here in the United Kingdom, enhanced by the popularity of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus points to the Apple Watch becoming a truly astounding second half of 2015 for Apple in the UK and overseas.
