IPhone 6S And IPhone 7 Release Date Rumours

10 Features iPhone 7 Should Have.

(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, May 20, 2015 ) London, UK -- After only a few months since the launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and the rumour mill has started to turn again, with gossip about the predicted release of the iPhone 6S, and even the iPhone 7.

Slated for a September 2015 release date, the iPhone 6S or iPhone 7, which is anticipated will go into production in China this June – only just over a month to go – is believed to boast 2GB RAM, Force Touch and a 10MP camera. THe 6S rumours imply retaining the dimensions of the earlier iPhone 6 as expected but if it is indeed a jump to an iPhone 7 this would likely be a radical new design with 'side screen' features increasingly mentioned. Even further speculation points to an 'iPhone 6 Mini' which would be a lower cost option to follow in the path of the iPhone 5C which many networks favoured to offer as an entry level handset, free with a contract.

As well as being offered in an attractive contemporary colour pallet, which will include ‘rose gold', it is thought that the new range of iPhones may be made from more durable materials, to avoid a repeat performance of ‘bend-gate'. Gorilla glass, sapphire glass and liquid metal are all considered likely contenders. As much as many love the Apple design and technology, no one wants a phone that may bend in the pocket, despite the perhaps overplayed likelihood of this by some media outlets.

Third party accessory manufacturers are of course the first to speculate and even benefit from new generations of handsets but even they seem none-the-wiser at this time on Apple's next move, given the varied rumours that are circulating. George Balfour-Kinnear, of British brand Boom Products, the company behind the Shock-2 phone case range* currently produced for both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, commented, "It would certainly make sense for Apple to make a mini version of the iPhone 6 for entry level consumers. As the new flagship model it would be great to see a very aggressive move from Apple straight to an iPhone 7 however Apple have never been a company to rush anything".

With Apple's WWDC just around the corner the industry is undoubtedly looking for any sign of Apple's next move with the iPhone. At the conference though expectations will be more centred around key developments for the Apple Watch and Apple TV.

* About The Boom Shock-2 Case
Introducing the new Shock-2 Hybrid Protection Phone Case with Built In Media Stand. Designed for maximum protection, function and style. With unique Advanced 2-Part Protection the case is made from 2 different materials, soft and flexible TPU (silicone strengthened with plastic) on the inside and a hard polycarbonate exoskeleton, that seamlessly interlock for increased protection against shocks and drops. The polycarbonate is also 'rubberised' to improve grip as well as sporting a 'tyre=like' design to help reduce the chance of dropping the phone from simply slipping during usage. Corners are also reinforced as this area can cause the most damage to the phone on impact. To the front of the case the screen has a buffer of approximately 2mm around the edge to stop the screen coming into contact with the surface first if dropped on its front. This feature will also doubles to reduce slipping if placed face down on a table top.
