Speculation That Apple Will Release IOS 9 This Summer.

(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, June 09, 2015 ) London, UK -- As usual Apple are keeping a tight rein on information about the launch of new products and innovations, but already there is strong speculation that the company will be releasing a new operating system, iOS 9, as early as August this year.

Apple have built up a reputation of releasing full new versions of iOS around late summer/autumn. Also iOS 9 could well be rolled out at the same time as the next iPhone, the iPhone 6S or even the recently "leaked" smaller iPhone 6C, which on past form will be during August.

It is expected that iOS 9 will be unveiled at Apple's World Wide Developers Conference – WWDC - giving registered developers the chance to tweak and update apps ahead of the operating system's release.

There is no doubt that the launch of a new operating system and iPhone will create excitement among Apple customers. A representative for the company Boom, which produces the Shock-2 protective case for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, said; "There is always a lot of speculation about what Apple are likely to present us with following a WWDC. The iOS 9, especially if it is released in August will most certainly stimulate a lot of interest."

As with the release date, just what the iOS 9 has to offer remains in the realms of rumour. Obviously its developers will be seeking eradicate the glitches suffered by iOS 8. The new operating system is expected to be faster, more stable and put less strain on the battery.

There is also speculation that iOS 9 will include a new "Home app" which acts as a control hub for third party HomeKit products. Apple are expected to make an announcement about HomeKit accessories during June and Home looks likely to be making an appearance at WWDC as well, strengthening speculation that the date for the release of iOS 9 is not that far away.
