(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, June 12, 2015 ) New York, NY -- GoPro Selfie Stick maker Hexagear has revealed that another iteration of its popular VertiGo TL-40 Selfie Stick is on the way. Hexagear has teamed up with an unnamed design firm to come up with the schematics and details for the project. "It's time," says CEO of Hexagear John Michaels. " We've been selling for almost 6 months now. We've gotten such awesome feedback that we decided the next generation should happen and it feels like the right time to do it," he added.
Most recently, Hexagear reached a company milestone on Facebook and continues to add on to that success. They have experienced month over month growth and acceleration. "Every month gets better and better," added head of consumer relations Chris Clayton. "We've seen not only strong growth, but quality engagement and feedback from our customers. They are becoming brand loyal, and it's pretty awesome."
Clayton wouldn't give the exact details, however, he hinted at the product being a different color and labeled it "premium." The product will still be a Monopod for use with GoPro Hero ® and most other digital cameras, including camcorders and DSLR's. The TL-40 is also used as a "Selfie Stick," however, Clayton adds, "We are an accessory for photography. Our customers use the TL-40 on the slopes, their surfboards, and to take pictures, both selfie and non-selfie style. It's used to take pictures over a crowd, or just to get an amazing shot you wouldn't be able to with just your arm." One of the advantages of the camera poles by Hexagear is its possibility to extend over 3.5 feet, ensuring the consumer true flexibility.
The new product is scheduled for release by the end of July. Hexagear says updates will be posted on their Facebook page.
