(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, August 24, 2015 ) Toronto, ON -- SecuPower, the company that have brought the world the famous 5 Port USB Charger has finally released a white version of this charger. Featuring the same high grade components and construction, this charger will not fail to impress. The charger comes standard with a power chord long enough to easily position the charger anywhere on one's working space. A stand for using it in a vertical position is also included. This would enable one to free up some desk real estate when working in a small, cramped area.
Features on this device remain the same as the black version. The device supports charging up to 5 USB chargeable devices – which can even be 5 iPads at once. Each port can handle a charging current of 2.4A. The charger a unit can handle a total current draw of 10A. Doing the calculation one can work out that this amounts to 50W (with the standard 5V for USB charging). The charger is also protected against faults that faulty devices or internal circuit faults may produce such as over current and over-voltage. This is made possible by Intelligent Chip Technology which disconnects the power going to a specific port should a problem on that circuit occurs.
The CEO of SecuPower happily commented on a journalist's question about the manufacturing quality of the charger "The charger would be manufactured in the same plant as our original product. We fully trust the workmanship of those people as for so far we have had a very good relationship with them."
As a new release this unit will be on promotion at Amazon with the code SPSPSPSP.
