5. Pre-Launch The Kickstarter Project - Start your Facebook ads early and cheaply going for fanpage likes. Create up to 20 different ads to see which is performing best. A highly targeted and well-presented Facebook ad can achieve likes for less than 5 cents. It is recommended that project creators start building their audience 3 months in advance in order to ensure a powerful launch. The Kickstarter creator's goal should be to fund 20% of the project within the first 3 days. When other backers see the momentum they will quickly get in line.
