Cargis Power Products Feature Built In Triple Protection

(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, March 03, 2015 ) Englewood, Florida -- Cargis Power Products now offers a USB charging station that has built in triple protection: over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and the housing is constructed of fireproof ABS + PC that prevents the risk of damage to a USB device. Charging stations, USB chargers, USB hubs, multi USB chargers, phone chargers are all designed to charge devices, but do they all work the same way? And will they damage a device? In an interesting article by Sebastian Anthony, he goes into technical details about how they work and what affect they may have on a gadget. And when it comes to the possibility of blowing up a device - here is what he had to say:

"In short, no: You can plug any USB device into any USB cable and into any USB port, and nothing will blow up and in fact, using a more powerful charger should speed up battery charging.

The longer answer is that the age of your device plays an important role, dictating both how fast it can be charged, and whether it can be charged using a wall charger at all."

Almost any USB device - smartphone, tablet, kindle or camera to name a few, could be plugged into a modern USB charger like the Smart Charge offered by Cargis Power Products. The "Smart" means that any device can be plugged into any port and the unit will detect the device and provide the maximum and quickest possible charge. This is not the case with all USB chargers on the market today. Many of the less expensive ones available require plugging a device into a predetermined, specified, labelled port therefore limiting the types, the speed of the charge and the number of devices that can be charged at any one time. A spokesperson for the company was quoted as saying, "We have the most powerful, compact Smart USB charger on the market (3.8 x 2.8 x 1 in) that delivers an incredible 60 watts 12 amps of power through 6 Smart ports making it an ideal multi USB charger for home, office and travel. It is CE, FCC and RoHS certified to ensure complete safety and reliability."
