(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, April 22, 2015 ) San Francisco, Ca -- Hand-held cell phone use restrictions has been instituted in 14 states, with D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands joining the group. These states prohibit all drivers from using hand held cell phones while driving. All are primary enforcement laws which means an officer may cite a driver for using a hand held cell phone without any other traffic offense taking place. The States on this list are Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Vermont, Washington and West Virginia. This means 36 States currently don't require hands free driving, but likely will change over time. Alabama is considering it now and Texas has recently voted on a driving while distracted law which focuses on texting while driving.
Nettohome's solution is the universal mobile phone mount now available on Amazon. It is a car phone dock with a magnetic head surrounded by durable rubber and the majority of the stand is made of hard plastic and weighs a few ounces. It allows a mobile phone user to make hands free calls when driving, as well as, the ability to use navigation apps. It is a much safer alternative for Smartphone users to talk on the phone while driving. It is unique in that it attaches to the dashboard or windshield with the latest suction technology. Once the mount or stand is securely attached then it can remain there indefinitely.
The company indicated it is simple to install. There is a rectangle plate that a user places between the phone and phone case and circular plate that users can place on the outside of the case if one has a thicker protective case. This then sticks to the magnetic head of the phone holder which a driver places on a windshield or the dashboard. The user is now safe and legally able to make or take calls in the 14 States that enforce distracted driving laws. Making phone calls first offense fines while driving vary in each State such as $20 in California to $75 in Illinois.
Nettohome's magnetic smartphone car holder allows cell phone users to be compliant and the device costs less than the first offense fine in any State. Mobile phone users can see Netthome's product via nettohomeonline on facebook or type in Nettohome via Amazon search.
