The Amazon Top Reviewers is a list of people that are engaged to give their honest and unbiased review on just about any sort of products they like. Many distributors send samples for them to test and then leave their comment on the reviews section of the product. Once published, other people can vote on whether the review is more or less useful to them, and then the more positive feedback one comment obtains, the higher the reputation of the reviewer becomes.
A few days ago, a product from the Case&More company, the Hybrid Bumper Case for iPhone 6, received a review from Stephen M. Charmel, one of the top 50 Amazon Reviewers.
Stephen M. Charmel, number 16 in this special ranking, released his review on June 18, 2015 and gave the product 4 stars, following the Amazon definition for an "I like it" rating.
Here, in short, are some impressions taken from the review that you can read entirely on the product page listing. First he says that he "thought this was made of clear hard plastic. It's not. Instead it's soft pliable silicone." He also put in evidence that "this is one of the lightest cases for the iPhone 6 that will show all its features and provide protection from scratches and a minimal level of protection from shocks and drops. (…) If you mainly keep it in your pocket and handle your phone with some care, this may be all you need."
After noticing that the product comes with a screen protector that is "not made out of tempered glass," he ends his review posting this bottom line: "This looks good on the iPhone 6 and provides the minimal level of protection that some people want rather than putting on a more heavy duty and bulky case that offers a higher degree of protection."
Stephen M. Charmel is from central New Jersey, ranked number 16 in the Amazon Reviewers ranking, with a score of 97% helpful votes received on reviews (19,690 of 20,390). He states in his profile that he is an English major, now the senior litigation partner in a boutique business law firm, and he started writing reviews to help other people with their purchase decisions.
He was happy to respond to this product testing as his interests are, among others, electronic gadgets.
