So, just what IS a power bank, anyway? A power bank is a portable charging device kept handy to ensure the batteries of favorite mobile devices, such as cell phones, tablets, laptops, and MP3's, are sufficiently charged for use, even if one is off the grid!
The TEKJoos Power Banks sport two outlet ports, one at a fast 2.1A, so two devices can be charged simultaneously, and quickly. Further, the input port allows up to 2.0A charging. Additionally, the power banks are 16,000 mAh capacity, making multiple charges available. For example, an iPhone 5 could be fully charged at least 6 times before the power bank must be recharged. The charger is about the size of the screen on a small tablet, and almost that thin, so it's easily portable. It is universally compatible with devices which accept a micro USB plug. For the protection of costly devices, it has redundant systems preventing over-heating, over-charging, and shorting.
Released in the U.S. in late May, the TEKJoos Portable Power Bank Charger is available on Amazon. It comes with an 10.5" standard USB to micro USB cord for charging other devices, and can itself be charged using most standard USB charger adapters (not included). Also included is a user's manual and a free, protective, soft carry bag. The color choices are gold or silver, and it arrives in a sturdy box useful for storage or safe transport of the TEKJoos Power Bank.
