(IT-NEWSWIRE.COM, August 22, 2015 ) Orlando, FL -- The concept of sharing is nothing new, in fact most people have been taught to share as a child. However, the concept of people coming together to combat the high prices of self-storage is a new frontier. Most people by now are familiar with companies such as Airbnb and Uber, who are pioneers of the sharing economy business model, but there is a new company who is trying to bring this idea of sharing to the self-storage industry. Kwéva is an Orlando, FL based startup who is working towards doing exactly that.
Kwéva is making it their mission to bring people together with a sense of community by utilizing the power of technology in the form of web and mobile applications, in order to connect hosts, people who have extra available space, with guests, people who are in need of space. This connection would allow people to come together in a community of sharing while benefiting both parties.
Kwéva was accepted, and is currently engaged in, Orlando's premier tech startup program, Starter Studio.
According to a spokesperson from Kwéva Inc., "Kwéva is still being developed, but it is our goal to be up and running by late Fall. We currently have a website with information about our company, as well as a signup page for people who would be interested in keeping up with our progress. We would also love to hear people's thoughts on what kind of features they would like to see by connecting with us on our social sites."
